The Alvarado Raffle 2016

As part of the Auction, each year we hold a Raffle, which raises roughly $20K of our annual PTA Budget. The proceeds of the raffle support academic programs and enrichment activities at the school.

Each child will receive a bundle of raffle tickets in January, a raffle prize flyer, and a return envelope, from their classroom.

We need volunteers to help sell raffle tickets at the Noe Valley Farmers Market on Saturday mornings during January and February! Please sign up here for a timeslot to sell tickets: https://www.parentsquare.com/feeds/139726/

The Student who sells the most tickets by February 15th wins a free ice cream or frozen yogurt, and the Classroom that sells the most tickets by Feb 29th wins a pizza party!! Additional Raffle Tickets can be picked up in the office, in a manila envelope, in the donation box in Noah Ingber’s office.

Envelopes with ticket stubs and cash or checks (made out to Alvarado PTA) can be turned into classroom teachers, or dropped off with Ariel in the office. The deadline for turning in all ticket stubs is Feb 29th via the teachers, although additional stubs with cash/checks can be turned in at the SOMArts auction, on Saturday, 3/5/16.

Raffle Prizes:

  • Grand Prize: A Weekend Getaway at Gaige House Inn (or $1000 in cash)
  • Second Prize: A City Bike by Public Bikes (or $400 in cash)
  • Third Prize: Beats by Dr. Dre Solo2 Wireless Headphones (or $250 in cash)

Ticket Prices: $10 each, 5/$40 or 10/$70.

Winners chosen 3/5/16. Attendance at auction is not required.
