Fall Tours for the 2020-2021 school year will run every Tuesday morning from 8:10am-9am from September 24 until December 10th. We will also host an evening tour on December 5th from 5-7pm.
You can register to attend one of our parent-led tours here.
During the tour, we will spend some time introducing you Alvarado, answering your questions, and providing you with a tour of the property. We sometimes get a chance to see a classroom in action, but this is not always the case and will be based on a few factors (like tour size and class schedules).
Please book only one tour date per person so that we can accommodate as many visitors as possible!
We do not offer private tours so as to minimize the amount of disruption to our students and staff. For more information please e-mail email@example.com. Plea
Enrollment at all San Francisco public schools, including Alvarado, is handled by San Francisco Unified School District’s Educational Placement Center (EPC). You can read about school placement here. Please note that admission to Alvarado’s General Education and Spanish Immersion programs are handled separately by the EPC.
The non-profit group Parents for Public Schools is a network of public school parents (not funded by the school district), which hosts enrollment workshops throughout the city. The organization is a great resource for navigating the enrollment process.
To see the breakdown of past applicants to Alvarado (sibling, CTIP, neighborhood, etc.), please visit SFUSD’S Student Assignment and Enrollment Reports.
