Afterschool Clubs
Afterschool Clubs are a great way for children to have fun exploring new hobbies or perfecting old favorites. Typical offerings include dance, drumming, knitting, clay, art, chess, and Italian conversation.
Traditionally, Alvarado has two club sessions: one in the Fall and one in the Spring, each about 8-10 weeks long.
Any Alvarado student can sign up to participate in Afterschool clubs. Assignments are made by lottery, and each child is assigned at most one club. Every effort is made to place children in a club of choice, but at times the clubs fill up and children are placed on a waitlist.
The recommended contribution for both Fall and Spring clubs is $40, but this contribution is voluntary, and no child is turned away for financial reasons.

The spring 2012 forms can be found here y aqui. Please fill it out and return it to your child’s teacher or to the Clubs mailbox in the office by January 27.
